Terms and Conditions.

Bookings can be made through the website, by email, or phone.

All bookings are conditional until full payment has been received.

Full payment must be received 10 business days prior to course commencement to comply with IWCF policy.

Due to recent updates it is now mandatory for all Candidates to register with IWCF FORUM prior to booking a course.

If possible, please attach a copy of photographic ID along with your booking forms.

If Passport has less then 2 years validity please also attach alternate photographic ID.

Candidates MUST bring photographic ID upon course commencement.

If you are booking multiple candidates each participant will need to complete separate booking forms.

Courses and course dates are very flexible and can be negotiated for company or group bookings

 
 

Terms of Payment.

 

Drilling School Asia-Pacific accepts payment via cash, direct deposit, cheque, International Transfer, and Credit Card (fees may apply).

All bookings are conditional until fully paid for.

Payment is required at the due date specified on the invoice unless previously agreed upon.

If payment is by company invoice/purchase-order (as previously agreed) then payment is required no longer than 10 business days before course commencement.

Drilling School Asia-Pacific reserves the right to withdraw candidates from the course if payment has not been received within the required time before course commencement (10 days). Any personal or company cost incurred relating to the subsequent withdrawal of candidates are not the responsibility of Drilling School Asia-Pacific including transport, flights and accommodation.

 
 

CANCELLATIONS  SUBSTITUTIONS  TRANSFERS  NON ATTENDANCE

If unforeseen circumstances arise you may be able to transfer to another course date, substitute the course to another candidate or cancel the course booking.

All requests for cancellations, transfers and substitutions must be made in writing/email to Drilling School Asia-Pacific within a minimum of 10 business days prior to course commencement to comply with IWCF fees and requirements. Administration fees may also apply.

No refund is given for non-attendance of any length.

Drilling School Asia-Pacific reserves the right to refuse training and/or testing if the instructor feels that the candidate will gain insufficient information to pass the course due to a late arrival, missed sessions, or insufficient knowledge.

 
 

UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES

 We understand that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. If you are going to be late to course due to flight delays etc. please contact us as soon as possible.

No refund is given for late arrivals or absence for any amount of time from course.

Although we will do our best to accommodate you, IWCF operate strict non-attendance policy so conditions may apply.

Drilling School Asia-Pacific reserves the right to cancel courses at our discretion however we will do our best to act in a conscientious manner towards our clients and candidates, giving as much notice as possible and alternative options if any are available. A full refund will be processed within 28 days of cancelling the course.

 

Drilling School Asia-Pacific reserves the right to update or change the Terms and Conditions or fees at our discretion.

When signing a booking form or payment form you are acknowledging that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions.

 
 

FEES AND GST.

All fees and charges are subject to GST.

There is an AUD $30.00 transaction fee on all international transactions. Please specify when booking.

All Credit Card payments incur a 3% Surcharge.

  

Transfers

Transfers received and accepted more than four weeks prior to course commencement No Charge

Cancellations

Substitutions

Substitutions received more than four weeks prior to course commencement No Charge

Practical and Written Re-sits

Immediate Re-Sit                                             - Practical No Charge

Re-sit fee on a scheduled test date                 - Written $545 Fee

Re-sit fee on a scheduled test date                 - Practical $700 Fee

Non - Attendance

Non attendance to any Drilling School Asia-Pacific course No Refund

Late Arrival Or Missed Sessions for any amount of time at any Drilling School Asia-Pacific No Refund

Unforeseen Circumstances

IWCF POLICY

Examination Pass Mark

The candidate must achieve a minimum grade of 70% in each examination component.

 Re-Sits

-       If a candidate fails two or more components at the first attempt, they will not be eligible for an instant re-sit, they must attend a full course of training.

-       If the candidate achieves 65% or below in one of the components, they are not eligible for an instant re-sit, they must receive further training prior to a re-sit examination.

-       If a candidate fails one of the components at 66% and above, they are eligible for an instant re-sit or to come back within the 90-day re-sit period.

-       If the first re-sit attempt is 65% or below, the candidate will not be eligible for an instant re-sit and must receive further training prior to completing the final attempt within the 90-day re-sit period.

-       Instant re-sits will be provided to those candidates who meet the above-mentioned criteria and where test materials and invigilation are available. Fees may apply.

 -       In the case of a failure for re-sitting the practical assessment, one re-sit is allowed prior to sitting the written examination. If either or both parts of the written examination are passed the second practical result stands. If both parts of the written examination are failed, then the candidate is not allowed to re-sit any part of the certification program and must register as a new candidate after a period of 28 days has expired.

-       Re-sits must be taken within a period of 90 days from the date of the initial test.

-       Candidates are allowed two attempts to re-sit the failed component(s). The re-sits must be taken at a maximum of two separate test sessions during this period in accordance with the current re-sit procedures.

 Cheating

IWCF operates a strict no tolerance cheating and plagiarism policy.

Should an invigilator or trainer suspect cheating in any of the three assessments they will be required to carry out the following:

Remove the candidates’ paper and any other material and explain that they are suspected of unethical behavior.

Ask the candidate to leave the examination. Where it is suspected that a group of candidates have been cheating, they may stop the entire examination.

At this time the candidate will be suspended from taking further examinations, impending investigation.

 Record Retention

IWCF requires all candidate records to be held in a secure location for a minimum of 2 years.
